Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest scientific honors in Germany. Kokko will join the Organismic and Evolutionary Biology Section in Class II: Life Sciences. The German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina &#8211; National Academy of Sciences is the largest scientific academy in Germany with around 1,700 members from more than 30 countries, and it is also a
