The master’s degree program in biology is a consecutive course of study building on the biology and molecular biology bachelor’s degree programs at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) or equivalent degree programs at other universities.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-collapsiblearea>\n\n\n \n\n \n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof of a bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, or an equivalent degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants are required to have very good active and passive knowledge of English, enabling them to read specialist literature and participate in courses taught in English; not included is the ability to complete written coursework or examinations in English. No particular proof is required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you did not receive your university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB) from a German institution or if you completed a degree program where the language of instruction was not German, you must provide proof of your German language proficiency by completing the \u201cGerman Language Proficiency Examination for Admission to Higher Education for Foreign Applicants.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
