March 05, 2025 | Carsten Wieder received a poster award for his research topic ‘Saintopin biosynthesis implies a non-canonical polyketide cyclization mechanism‘ at the 17th European Conference on Fungal Genetics (ECFG17), which took place this year from March, 02 to 05 in Dublin. Carsten Wieder is currently working on the completion of his PHD dissertation in the research group of Prof. Eckhard Thines | Biotechnology at the Institute of Molecular Physiology (imP) in Mainz.
